Savoy Venue ("we", "us") operates the private event space at 11777 Parklawn Drive, Suite 100, North Bethesda, MD 20852 and the website savoyvenue.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address and phone number.
- Event details: date, time, guest count, event type, add-ons and notes.
- Your signed rental agreement, including your typed signature and the time it was signed.
- Payment information, which is collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
- Basic technical data such as browser type, device and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure and to understand how visitors find and use the site. We use Google Analytics (which sets cookies) and Cloudflare Web Analytics for this. They see page addresses without any private booking codes.
How we use it
- To prepare quotes, process booking requests and payments, and manage your event.
- To contact you about your booking by email, phone call or text message.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, Savoy Venue sends text messages about your inquiry and booking, such as replies to your questions, booking request confirmations, payment notices and event reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. See our SMS terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only with providers that help us run the business (for example payment processing and website hosting), when required by law, or to protect our rights and property. Mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention and security
We keep booking records as long as needed for the event, accounting and legal purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, and payment data is handled by Stripe under PCI standards.
